Rules To Enter
First and foremost, Keep it fun!
Note: If you have any type of spam blocker, please add us. We will not click links and enter information in order to reply to your emails, or to notify you know when the contest starts that is showcasing your pet, or to let you know that we have received your entry. If we do not make contact, please keep checking back here for the start of the contest for your entry, as I may not be able to reach you when the contest starts at the first of the month.
1. When does voting end? Voting ends near the last day of each month. The winner will be chosen and notified in the following newsletter during the first week of the following month.
2. Can other pets besides dogs enter? Entries limited to dogs and puppies. Only if space allows, will other pets be entered to compete. Unfortunately, this is very limited.
3. Who can enter? US residents only eligible to enter. Email your favorite photo to: THIS EMAIL ADDRESS Please include your name & pet’s name and any caption you would like shown. We do not respond to entries until they have been put on the website. If you would like to know that your entry was received please send it with 'Request Read Receipt' available in outlook emails. IMPORTANT! Please put CONTEST in the subject line. We have been receiving lots of spam at this address and would hate to delete your entry.
ATTENTION WEB TV' USERS. We love all entries, but be aware that voting thru web tv does not work well with our system. You may choose to vote from a PC if available. Or you may choose to just post your photo entry. But please do not spam the forum that your votes are not counting, or that other dogs are cheating.
4. How do we prepare our photo entries? Limit pictures size to 480x480 pixels or smaller please. And do not embed pictures in your email. Please attach them. Not doing so may result in entry being denied.
5. Are there requirements to enter? Yes, You must also be a subscriber to our New Product Newsletter to be eligible to win. Sign up here. You must respond to the opt in emails that follow your subscription request. And you MUST send your photos from this email address, so that we may verify. We have had to limit photos to our faithful subscribers due to overwhelming response and number of photos entered.
6. How often may I enter? You may enter ONE photo every other month. If you are a contest winner, please hold new entries for 3 months. We will chose one photo from double photo entrys sent from one household in one months time.
7. How do I claim my prize after winning? Prizes must be claimed by the winner within one week or a runner up will be chosen, and the winner will forfeit the prize. You will claim your prize by responding to the winners announcement in the newsletter.
8. All entries will recieve a notice of the winning participant.
9. Have you ever had a tie? No. But in the event of a tie, the contest winner will be chosen by the staff of Little Shop. Displaying products from our store is not required.....but it sure doesn't hurt!
10. All photo entry's become property of Little Shop & may be used in other media.
