Little Shop News - August 2005
Welcome to the August 2005 edition of LITTLE SHOP NEWS. Well, we’ve hit the dog days of summer. I guess…I mean, I don’t really remember when the dog days are and I don’t feel like looking it up right now, but it sounds about right. Come to think of it, aren’t ALL the days of summer dog days? Around my house, all the days of the YEAR are dog days…so really, what’s the difference. All I can say is make sure you keep plenty of water around, keep your pets inside where it’s cool and don’t leave them sitting in a hot car by themselves. Speaking of that, if you DO take the little ones with you on a trip to Wal-Mart, why not just them in the store with you. I know what you are thinking… you can’t carry a dog around in your arms while you try to shop, and most stores won’t allow you to just waltz through the front door with a dog on a leash either. Well, friends, you are in luck, because NEW THIS MONTH at the Little Shop we have Quilted Pet Totes in some very cool colors. You must check out the interior. I’m a man, so really, what do I know, but believe me when I say these are CUTE, and what a fantastic value for the money. With one of these fashionable pet carriers on your arm, people will think you have some terrific new designer bag, and will never suspect you are toting around your little pride and joy. Get one of each color to match your wardrobe!!! Here are some of the great features: Mesh Ends For Ventilation / Folds Flat For Storage / Carrying Handle / Inside Collar Clip Padded Head Rest / Velcro Flap Closure / Zippered Pocket Storage / Washable Vinyl Interior Be sure to check out both links to see all the great new designs: http://www.littleshopofterrors.citymax.com/catalog/item/404553/1642129.htm http://www.littleshopofterrors.citymax.com/catalog/item/404553/1642159.htm ***We need to give a heads up to the folks who use HONEST KITCHEN products. You will soon notice an increase of $1 to $3 per food product. Treats and supplements will not change. This is the first increase EVER for Honest Kitchen, but is needed due to the increased cost of ingredients and shipping. Thanks to our loyal customers for understanding… and you might consider getting an order in before the 1st of September to avoid the increase. If you subscribe to the Little Shop News and you shop at the Little Shop of Terrors, then you MUST have a little terror of your own, right? And if you are like every other Terror Wrangler we know, then you must have a story or two that others might find humorous, or at the very least a story that will make others realize maybe THEIR terror isn’t as bad as YOUR terror and they’ll feel sorry for you. Heck, maybe it wasn’t even a BAD thing your terror did; maybe it was a cute thing. We don’t know, but we’d sure like to hear about it. Here’s a chance for your little terror to be famous. Please send us a story or two, tell us what makes your dog a “terror” and we’ll print a new story each month in the newsletter. Email - info@littleshopofterrors.citymax.com Don’t forget the Little Shop website now features a FUN AND GAMES page!!! Next time you get frustrated because your little angel has dug up the backyard, you can vent those frustrations by playing our little ‘Dog Bone’ game and dig a few holes of your own.
