These stairs have a width of 12" and are intended for small dogs and cats. As a guide we would suggest these are good for dogs up to 12 lbs.

We still recommend purchasing the Tiny Steps or the Bears Stairs 2 or 3 step when possible for your dog. As they have a deeper step tread, which makes it is easier to train dogs to use the steps. But this step is great for small areas as it is narrower in width.
